Coinbase said it has designated Abu Dhabi Global Market, or ADGM (Abu Dhabi financial center), as its international tokenization hub. The company said that after receiving a new FSRA license from the ADGM regulator, it can offer global securities to any user with a wallet. Coinbase framed the move as part of a wider shift toward onchain finance, saying the next frontier for global finance will be built on blockchain-based infrastructure and that it is advancing that effort from the United Arab Emirates.
