MarsCoin, a meme coin on BSC, briefly pushed its market capitalization above $15 million on Aug. 16, setting a record high after surging more than 14-fold in a short period. The move came after earlier unusual activity involving a wallet address associated with CZ, where 4,444 MarsCoin tokens were burned. Rapid swings in meme-coin valuations are often amplified by concentrated trading and social attention, and on-chain wallet activity can quickly become a catalyst for speculative buying.
