The index closed Tuesday 0.03% lower at 14,127.98 points, with daily trading volume of 157 billion Turkish liras ($3.27 billion). At 10:00 a.m. local time (0700 GMT), the exchange rate was 47.9375 Turkish liras per U.S. dollar, 55.6305 per euro and 65.0140 per British pound. Gold was priced at $4,350.9 an ounce, while Brent crude futures traded at $91.6 a barrel.
