US-listed storage stocks opened higher on Aug. 19, with SK Hynix up 4.69%, SanDisk up 4.18%, Micron Technology up 1.59%, Seagate Technology up 0.94% and Western Digital up 0.37%, according to BIT (bit.com) market data. Semiconductor shares were mixed: Marvell Technology jumped 12.76%, Arm rose 2.82%, Qualcomm gained 2.66% and Nvidia added 1.08%, while Broadcom fell 2.01% and Lam Research declined 1.00%. Most optical-communications stocks advanced, including Applied Optoelectronics, Nokia and Coherent. Neocloud, a cloud-computing model focused on specialized infrastructure such as artificial intelligence computing, mostly declined, led by Nebius’s 6.89% drop; CoreWeave rose 0.63% against the trend.
