Stablecoin issuer Circle said its Arc blockchain network will officially launch its mainnet on Sept. 16. Positioned as financial infrastructure for global markets, Arc is designed to support related applications and settlement use cases. Its testnet has processed more than 500 million transactions, with nearly 3 million wallet addresses participating, while more than 100 partners remain active on the private mainnet. Circle said the initial validator group is expected to operate the network alongside the company and that it will continue developing Arc's infrastructure and ecosystem.
