US stocks fall as Nasdaq slides 0.72% on Aug. 21

The three major US stock indexes traded lower on Aug. 21. The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.72% from the previous session to 26,141.79, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.77% to 53,051.59. The S&P 500 slipped 0.34% to 7,682.41.
