Ripple has voted in favor of the PermissionDelegationV1_1 amendment, which allows specific transaction permissions to be delegated to other XRP Ledger accounts. The proposal is part of the XRP Ledger v3.3.0 upgrade, alongside fixCleanup, Single Asset Vault and Lending Protocol amendments, and is intended to improve stability, performance, account flexibility and readiness for institutional and tokenization applications. Seven of 35 UNL validators currently support PermissionDelegationV1_1, while activation requires 28 votes, or 80%, for two consecutive weeks. RippleX product head Jazzi Copper said regulated institutions need controls to manage tokens brought on-chain. XRP was trading at 1.39, up more than 17% on the day and 40% for the week, while trading volume rose 156% in 24 hours. Spot XRP ETFs recorded $13.24 million in inflows on Thursday, including $9.9 million at Bitwise and $3.34 million at Franklin, according to SoSoValue. Goldman Sachs re-entered XRP ETFs and again became the top holder. XRP futures open interest rose more than 17% to $3.44 billion, with increases of more than 35% on CME, 15% on Binance and 29% on Hyperliquid.
