The CFTC (U.S. derivatives regulator) held the first meeting of its Innovation Advisory Committee, or IAC, on Aug. 22, a Thursday, chaired by CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig. The attendee list included numerous founders and executives from the cryptocurrency sector. Among crypto assets associated with attendees, LIT rose more than 21% over 24 hours, followed by XRP at more than 20% and CRO at more than 16%. UNI, LINK, OKB and SOL also gained more than 15%, 12%, 10% and 8%, respectively. U.S.-listed stocks COIN, BTGO and HOOD closed up 8.20%, 3.64% and 13.70%, respectively.
