The Phase 3 trial tested Moderna's intismeran with Merck's Keytruda in advanced skin cancer and met its primary endpoint of recurrence-free survival, as well as a key secondary endpoint for distant metastasis-free survival, with no new safety signal reported. Crypto-exposed equities also rallied after bitcoin rose above $77,000, reaching $79,461 earlier Friday, following the U.S. Treasury's decision to raise the maximum size of long-dated bond buyback operations from $2 billion to at least $4 billion. The measure applies to the 10-to-20-year and 20-to-30-year sectors from Sept. 9 through Nov. 4, while supportive comments from President Donald Trump also aided sentiment. Strategy gained 25.9% for the week, Marathon Digital 22.5%, Coinbase 23.1%, Circle 16.3%, Galaxy Digital 12.3% and Robinhood 9.7%. Metals producers benefited as the dollar weakened and precious-metal prices rose: Agnico Eagle gained 18.4% for the week, Barrick 15%, Freeport-McMoRan 14% and Newmont 13.3%. Spot gold rose more than 2% Friday and over 6% in the past week. Estée Lauder advanced more than 16% Wednesday and was headed for a 15.9% weekly gain after fourth-quarter sales and adjusted earnings exceeded expectations. Walmart was the week's notable decliner, falling 9.2% Thursday and another 0.9% so far Friday after comparable sales at Walmart-only U.S. stores excluding gas grew 2.6%, below the 3.67% consensus and marking the slowest U.S. sales growth in six years.
