Donaldson says he keeps less than $1 million for himself and reinvests his earnings into his ventures, including an estimated $250 million in content spending this year. His projected net worth is at least $2.6 billion, while Forbes estimated that he earned $85 million between April 2024 and April 2025. Other wealthy founders, including Gymshark founder and CEO Ben Francis and Scale AI cofounder Lucy Guo, have similarly described their wealth as tied up in company stakes rather than cash.
