Moderna and MSD’s personalized mRNA cancer vaccine Intismeran Autogene (V940) delivered statistically significant improvements in recurrence-free survival and distant metastasis-free survival when combined with Keytruda in a Phase 3 melanoma adjuvant-therapy trial. The result was the first Phase 3 efficacy demonstration by an mRNA-based cancer vaccine against Keytruda monotherapy and is expected to support Alteogen’s Keytruda SC (subcutaneous formulation) conversion strategy. V940 is being tested in nine late-stage trials, eight with Keytruda, including a high-risk non-small cell lung cancer Phase 3 trial using Keytruda SC. Separately, analysts raised targets for Samsung Life Insurance and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance after Samsung Electronics approved a 90 trillion to 110 trillion won shareholder-return plan, with the eventual mix of dividends and treasury-share cancellations determining the insurers’ additional benefits.
