Galaxy Research estimates that a vulnerability in Coldcard hardware wallets led to the theft of 1,789.28 BTC from 8,865 addresses, worth about $114.7 million at the time of the theft. The estimate is higher than previous calculations. Confirmed reports account for 790.72 BTC across 221 cases, or 44.2% of the projected total. Including incidents classified with medium confidence, the losses could reach about 1,824 BTC, The Crypto Times reported.
