Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich denied that the Japanese Bitcoin treasury company had sold Bitcoin and said he remains bullish on the asset’s prospects. The statement followed an earlier ChainCatcher report that Metaplanet, described as a Bitcoin mining company, deposited 1,000 BTC with Coinbase Prime, an institutional crypto trading and custody platform.
