OpenRouter, a platform that lets customers switch between different AI models and centralize billing, is in talks to sell the company, according to a report by The Information last month. The news prompted bankers to ask whether there were a record nine suitors for the business, while at least two people contacted about the deal appeared to submit their own bids soon afterward.
