BitMart is scheduled to stop spot, futures and other trading services at 01:00 UTC on August 26, 2026, while users report that small withdrawals are arriving in amounts that "can be ignored." The complaints, circulated in an X post by @lili5726, have intensified concerns about BitMart’s liquidity as the exchange explores restructuring. BitMart has not confirmed the claims or disclosed reserves, a claims register, creditor eligibility criteria or payout percentages. On-chain analytics firm Lookonchain reported in late July that 58 wallets withdrew about $805,000 in one 24-hour period, with no withdrawals during the previous eight hours. BitMart began its formal wind-down on July 26, but on August 21 said it was developing a potential restructuring and business resumption plan with White & Case as restructuring counsel. The exchange says it will provide a roadmap by September 9, 2026, although the trading cutoff and recommended withdrawal-request deadline of 05:00 UTC on August 26 remain unchanged. The company’s BMX token fell roughly 58% to 66% within 24 hours of the shutdown announcement and was trading near $0.06 ahead of the halt, about 80% below its price a month earlier. Users and the market are now watching whether the September roadmap addresses pending withdrawals, creditor treatment, possible service resumption and the platform’s reported small-withdrawal restrictions.
