U.S. software stocks fall as Meta gains more than 3% on settlement

U.S. software stocks moved lower, with ServiceNow, Salesforce and Adobe each falling more than 3% and Palantir declining more than 1%. Meta rose more than 3% after reaching a settlement in lawsuits brought by states alleging that its platform harms children's health, according to MSX.COM data.
