CyberLeek (CYBERLEEK), a newly created token associated with the Cyberleek GTA 6 leak saga, rose 819% in seven days to $0.0133, according to CoinGecko data recorded on August 26 at 20:21 IST. Its market capitalization reached about $11.9 million, while 24-hour trading volume stood at about $13.79 million. The price surge came as Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games' parent company, sought court orders requiring Google and X Corp to provide information that could help identify the person or group behind leaked Grand Theft Auto 6 material. Take-Two also asked the platforms to remove unauthorized videos and images, which it said showed genuine gameplay from the unreleased game. An online investigation has suggested a possible link between the Cyberleek activity and a Discord user called "stayonthegrindd," but it has not established that the account belongs to Cyberleek or is directly connected to the leaks. Rockstar said the leak's publication had been "heartbreaking" for its team, apologized to fans and announced an extended official look at GTA 6 on August 27. The game remains scheduled for release on November 19. Earlier warnings from Malwarebytes about fake GTA 6 websites seeking Bitcoin, USDT or Ethereum payments were separate from the Cyberleek token and do not establish a connection between the token's creators and those responsible for the leaks. The identity behind the Cyberleek activity remains unresolved.
