Nvidia reported better-than-expected results for the second quarter of fiscal 2027 after U.S. trading ended on Aug. 27, but its shares initially fell as much as 3% amid elevated investor expectations. CFO Colette Kress later said revenue could grow about 70% in fiscal 2028, above the 44% analyst consensus. CEO Jensen Huang said demand growth had already exceeded 70% and was approaching 100%, but the 70% outlook reflected Nvidia's current supply capacity. He said the outlook would be much higher without supply constraints. Nvidia shares subsequently rose as much as 5% in after-hours trading.
