FinTax, a provider of cryptocurrency financial and tax solutions and AI infrastructure, has completed a seed funding round led by YZi Labs, with participation from Amber, Hash House, Pundi AI, Waverider International and Nexus Holdings. The company’s post-funding valuation is $40 million. Earlier investors included Victory Courage, BGIN, Tools Factory and individual investor Fan Chao. YZi Labs has in recent years expanded its focus on stablecoins (digital tokens designed to track asset values), real-world assets (traditional assets represented on blockchain), payments and institutional-grade digital-asset infrastructure. Building on FinTax’s expertise in on-chain data processing, crypto accounting, cross-jurisdictional tax practice and crypto-asset financial audits, the two sides plan long-term ecosystem cooperation around institutional-grade financial and tax infrastructure, compliance standards, stablecoins, real-world assets and payments. FinTax said it will scale its five product lines, expand from Asia-Pacific and North America into Europe and the Middle East, and deepen the use of AI in complex financial and tax applications. It will also continue advancing blockchain systems and legal frameworks across dozens of jurisdictions to connect on-chain economic activity with real-world financial, tax and financial-system infrastructure.
