Mediators have renewed efforts to reopen the waterway, with Tehran agreeing to draw up conditions for restoring normal traffic after a Qatari emissary urged Iran to respect freedom of navigation. Iran and Oman were still working on details of an agreement on the waterway, a senior Iranian source said earlier Wednesday, after Iran's Revolutionary Guards said the countries had agreed how to share control of the strait and its revenues.
