Ajna v2, a DeFi (decentralized finance) lending protocol on Ethereum, experienced the outflow of about $775,400 from seven pools between Aug. 28 and 29. The attack is believed to have exploited the protocol’s liquidation processing and accounting calculations rather than a price oracle, which supplies external market data. Ajna acknowledged the anomaly and urged users to withdraw deposited assets, repay borrowings and stop using the protocol, The Crypto Times reported.
