Meme coins are beginning to trade directly against tokenized stocks on public blockchains, with BNB Chain offering the clearest example through GMEB, Binance’s tokenized GameStop share. At least 10 meme coins use GMEB as their quote asset, and their pools recorded about $2.2 million in combined 24-hour volume. Binance says its bStocks are backed by real shares held by a regulated custodian, though conversions are limited to eligible users and the products are not sold to US persons. The scale remains small: 292,353 GMEB tokens were worth $5.3 million against GameStop’s $8.02 billion market value, while the meme coin trading against it was valued at about $3.7 million. A similar imbalance exists on Robinhood Chain, where Artificial Inu is valued near $98.6 million against tokenized Nvidia worth $9.3 million, compared with Nvidia’s $5.25 trillion valuation. Traders are now discussing whether a meme coin paired with a much smaller tokenized company could eventually influence the underlying stock, but no company valued between $50 million and $250 million has yet been tokenized and paired in this way.
