U.S. natural gas futures (contracts for future delivery) fell 0.6% to $2.871/mmBtu at 0849 ET as the week began. Warmer-than-normal weather extending into September is supporting prices and sustaining cooling demand, but Andy Huenefeld of Pinebrook Energy Advisors said rapidly declining normal temperatures will make unusually strong energy demand increasingly dependent on extreme weather anomalies.
