KG Mobility sold 6,860 vehicles in August, down 22.6% from 8,860 a year earlier, as domestic sales fell more sharply than exports. Domestic deliveries declined 43.3% to 2,300 units, while overseas sales decreased 5.1% to 4,560 units. For the year to date, domestic sales were broadly unchanged at 26,716 units, compared with 26,832 units in the same period last year, while exports increased 1.2% to 45,454 units from 44,920 units, helped by demand in Turkey and Hungary. The company is seeking to lift volumes by expanding overseas distribution, launching its KGM brand in Myanmar last month, introducing electric vehicles including the Torres EVX and Musso EV, and gradually expanding knock-down assembly operations in Saudi Arabia and Vietnam. In South Korea, it is broadening customer engagement through EV Trend Korea 2026 and sponsorship of the 15th KG Ladies Open.
