NIO narrowed its second-quarter net loss to 721.6 million yuan, or about $107 million, from 5.14 billion yuan a year earlier. Revenue rose 69% to 32.14 billion yuan as vehicle deliveries increased by nearly 50%, supported by the company’s premium positioning. However, quarterly sales fell short of NIO’s guidance, and a sequential decline in monthly sales weighed on the shares, which were down 3.20%.
