Bitcoin appears less sensitive than gold to movements in U.S. Treasury yields, CoinDesk said, as both assets continued gaining amid concerns about U.S. fiscal health. Their 90-day correlation coefficient (a measure of how closely returns move together) reached 0.59, the highest level since 2020. By comparison, Bitcoin’s 90-day correlation with the U.S. 10-year Treasury note yield was -0.17, suggesting BTC has been less closely tied than gold to bond-market and interest-rate changes. CoinDesk said this could leave Bitcoin relatively less affected than gold if rising yields coincide with greater fiscal uncertainty and financial-market pressure.
