XRP options tied to the Evolve XRP ETF and Purpose XRP ETF are listed on the Montréal Exchange and cleared by the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC). A CDCC Form S-20 filing covers their offer and sale in the United States, creating a regulated cross-border route for eligible U.S. participants to access exposure without using offshore perpetual markets. The contracts have not launched on a U.S. exchange, and earlier 2026 SEC exhibits had already listed both products, making the latest filing a reinforcement rather than a first approval. A separate Federal Register filing identifies Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and XRP as assets qualifying under generic listing standards for commodity-based trust shares, although it does not classify every XRP transaction as a commodity transaction. XRP’s institutional derivatives activity has also expanded through CME products, with XRP futures and options generating $13 billion in first-quarter 2026 notional volume and cumulative XRP futures trading later exceeding $62 billion. The broader market development includes XRP’s move toward 24/7 futures trading.
