XRP is showing early signs of a possible bullish shift after breaking above $1.39 and several previous lower highs, according to widely followed cryptocurrency trader Cryptoinsightuk. The trader still views XRP's trend as neutral, with a move above $1.48 needed to confirm a bullish transition. The proposed targets are $1.58 initially and, if momentum persists, a $1.70-$1.85 liquidity zone. Cryptoinsightuk also cited a potentially improving macro liquidity backdrop, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's discussion of possibly increasing bond purchases, as a potential tailwind for XRP and the broader crypto market. Separately, David Schwartz, Ripple's former CTO, said on an X Space on Sept. 9 that XRP could eventually surpass Bitcoin in market value, driven by faster XRP growth rather than a decline in Bitcoin. He pointed to the XRP Ledger's speed and functionality, as well as demand for features Bitcoin does not support, as possible adoption drivers.
