KOSPI rose 90.71 points and Nikkei 225 gained 438.90 points on Sept. 16.
KOSPI advanced 1.37% to 6,717.97 points, while Nikkei 225 rose 0.69%.
SK Hynix gained 4.08% and Samsung Electronics climbed 2.01%.
