Circle’s Arc network processed $410.8 million in decentralized exchange volume on its first day of public mainnet, with meme coin launchpads accounting for roughly 82% of the total. Launchpad tokens generated $336.26 million, led by Arguspad with $202.35 million, while Minara.fun and Tollylabs contributed $36.41 million and $19.65 million, respectively. Arc is an open Layer 1 network built for financial markets, real-time money movement and agentic economic activity, but speculative trading dominated its debut. The network’s founding validators include BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, DTCC and ICE, while more than 100 institutional and ecosystem builders had tested or deployed on its private mainnet. Tokenized funds and stablecoin settlement are among the intended institutional uses. Arc processed 7.76 million transactions and saw 97,025 tokens minted on September 16. Its debut was nearly 28 times larger than Robinhood Chain’s $14.74 million opening-day volume on July 1, though the durability of Arc’s activity remains uncertain as institutional flows compete with launchpad-driven trading.
