SpaceX shares climbed 1.5% to $153.08 in early Thursday trading after rising 5.2% in the previous session, with the rally supported by a planned Starship test, stronger AI revenue forecasts and institutional buying. The company has set Sept. 22 for Starship’s 14th test flight, targeting the vehicle’s first orbital mission and the deployment of next-generation Starlink V3 satellites. Analysts lifted SpaceX’s projected 2027 AI revenue to $67 billion from $38 billion in June, while 2030 estimates rose to $275 billion from about $110 billion. SpaceX ended the second quarter with 1.4 gigawatts of AI computing infrastructure and aims to reach as much as 10 gigawatts by year-end 2027. HBK Investments added 237,500 shares worth about $40.6 million. Wall Street’s consensus rating is Moderate Buy, with a mean price target of $221.42, although a negative price-to-earnings ratio and 328 million shares becoming eligible for trading on Sept. 24 could increase volatility.
