Saudi Aramco is sending more oil through the Strait of Hormuz after attacks disrupted the Red Sea route used to bypass the waterway. The state-controlled oil giant is loading additional crude onto tankers in the Persian Gulf and asking several Asian customers, its most important market, to collect shipments just outside the strait off Oman. The shift reverses months of efforts to move oil across the desert and avoid the strategic passage.
