Tokenized commodities trading on Solana reached $87 million in weekly volume, with Raydium, the network’s largest decentralized exchange, accounting for 70%. Solana’s tokenized commodity supply approached $50 million by late August 2026, supported by Paxos Gold (PAXG) and Dominion Market’s tokenized silver token, SILV. SILV generated more than $4 million in 24-hour volume shortly after launch, representing about 60% of tokenized commodity trading on Solana at that time. Raydium captured between 63% and more than 90% of Solana’s tokenized asset trading volume across categories during 2026. Tokenized gold supply rose 689% year over year through August, although Solana held only about 0.47% of the total on-chain gold market, far behind Ethereum. Trading access expanded in early September 2026 when GMTrade launched 24/7 perpetual contracts, leveraged derivatives without expiry, for gold, silver and WTI crude oil. Kamino, a Solana-based lending protocol, also added PAXG as collateral, enabling users to borrow against tokenized gold. Solana routed more than 95% of global tokenized equity volume in the second quarter of 2026, while its broader real-world asset metrics continued rising in supply and holder counts across multiple categories.
