XRP pulled back to about $1.51 on Sep. 23 after briefly reaching $1.6581, leaving $1.60 as the first resistance level to reclaim. The token remained above its 20-day moving average near $1.40, but a negative 20-day Chaikin Money Flow reading of −0.09 indicated that buying pressure had not strengthened with the advance. Two proposed XRP Ledger amendments, XLS-65 and XLS-66, would introduce pooled vaults and fixed-term lending without requiring separate smart contracts. The proposals remain subject to validator approval and have not activated on mainnet. More than 80% of trusted validators must support an amendment for two consecutive weeks before activation. Any impact on XRP demand would depend on whether lending pools use XRP, RLUSD or another issued token, and on whether firms actually adopt the system after approval.
