Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) climbed 2% Thursday, extending a rally that has lifted it ahead of Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB). Crypto analyst Ali Martinez said PENGU's chart structure resembles PEPE's early expansion phase on Ethereum, after both tokens experienced intense initial attention, sharp declines from their highs, extended consolidation and renewed rallies as liquidity returned. Weekly technical indicators are also turning positive: Bollinger Bands are tightening, the Tom DeMark Sequential has produced nine and Combo 13 buy signals, the Parabolic SAR has turned bullish, and the SuperTrend has generated a buy signal. PENGU rose nearly 38% over the past week and 16% year to date, reaching almost $0.0109 before retreating Wednesday, while PEPE, DOGE and SHIB gained 26.9%, 15.9% and 14.9%, respectively, over the same period. Interest increased after Pudgy Penguins announced events at Korea Blockchain Week in Seoul from September 29 to October 1. PENGU traded at $0.0099 Thursday, above a long-term descending trendline and all four major exponential moving averages, while its relative strength index stood at 68.40. Key levels are $0.011 to $0.012, based on May swing highs, and $0.0084, the 20-day EMA support. Martinez cautioned that past performance does not guarantee a repeat move.
