Robo.ai Inc. (Nasdaq: AIIO) said a groundbreaking ceremony was held in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, on Sept. 25, 2026, for Phase I of the ALIF Holding Group Industrial Park. The first of three planned phases is designed to cover approximately 8,845 square meters and is expected to refurbish existing factory premises for local integration and manufacturing. The site is intended to be held by a majority-owned ALIF Holding subsidiary whose Umm Al Quwain registration remains in progress, with transfer procedures subject to approval by competent authorities. Alif Maritec, a proposed Robo.ai majority-owned subsidiary focused on marine security and intelligent maritime infrastructure, is expected to be the first project to enter Phase I once refurbishment and operational preparations are complete. Its proposed activities include marine oil spill response, land border security, and AI-enabled defense and intelligent monitoring. The park is intended to advance Robo.ai's advanced manufacturing strategy, support commercialization with government, critical-infrastructure and industrial customers, and underpin its intelligent infrastructure business. Phase II would add new factory facilities, while Phase III would reserve space for future projects and expansion. ALIF Holding aims to have at least three project companies operating in the park by the end of 2026, subject to suitable premises, project progress, funding, approvals and operational readiness. The company said refurbishment, company formation and commercial production will proceed in stages, and warned that its plans contain forward-looking statements subject to risks including site rights, construction, financing, regulatory approvals, technology development, demand and competition.
