The altcoin market, comprising cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin, is in its strongest expansion cycle since July 2025, with 30-day growth at approximately 12.5%. CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost reported that total altcoin market capitalization rose more than 32% over a 30-day period in early September as liquidity continued moving into the sector. Darkfost said the momentum could continue for some time but urged investors to remain patient and cautious because markets do not move in a straight line.
