Bitcoin retreated after moving above $87,000, with the decline beginning around $82,000 and the token trading sideways near $83,000. The $82,000 level is being monitored as short-term support. CoinShares said cryptocurrency investment products recorded $3.55 billion in global inflows last week, the largest total this year after two weeks of broadly stagnant flows. Bitcoin accounted for $2.52 billion, followed by Ethereum with $702 million, Solana with $193 million and XRP with $92.3 million. CoinShares attributed part of the recovery to reduced uncertainty around U.S. monetary policy, saying the scale and breadth of demand showed institutional confidence had returned. The report linked the move to a "buying the truth" pattern, in which investors buy once an anticipated event occurs, and said short-term demand has become highly sensitive to the macroeconomic calendar. The United States led regional inflows with $3.43 billion, followed by Germany at $73.9 million, Canada at $21.8 million and Switzerland at $20.9 million. The information is not investment advice.
