Georgia’s annual inflation rate remained unchanged at 5.6% in September 2026. Price growth accelerated for transport, housing and utilities, health, miscellaneous goods and services, alcoholic beverages and tobacco, recreation and culture, and restaurants and hotels. These increases were offset by slower inflation for food and non-alcoholic beverages, while clothing and footwear, education, and communication prices declined. Consumer prices rose 0.4% month on month, matching the increase recorded in August.
