South Korea’s KOSPI (benchmark stock index) recovered late in the session to reclaim the 7,000 level after five trading days. The rebound came despite large-scale retail selling, as the Other Corporations category bought more than ₩1.4 trillion. That category is the channel through which Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix buyback volumes flow, making corporate demand the decisive factor in the recovery.
