Croatia’s annual inflation rate accelerated to 4.7% in September 2026 from 4.2% in August, according to a preliminary estimate. The increase was led by energy prices, which surged 20.5% from a year earlier amid ongoing pressures associated with the Middle East conflict. Services prices rose 7.6%, while food, beverages and tobacco prices increased 0.2%. Non-food industrial goods excluding energy fell 1.4%. Consumer prices rose 0.9% month-on-month, compared with a 0.3% increase in the previous month.
