An unidentified whale deposited 6,595.2 ETH to Coinbase three hours before the report, with the transfer valued at about $17.57 million. The deposit followed the withdrawal of 6,500 ETH from exchanges between June and August 2025 at an average price of $3,040.4. After holding the assets for about a year, the whale appeared to exit at a stop-loss, with an estimated loss of $2.443 million and a 12.3% decline in asset value. The position had at one point shown more than $9.557 million in unrealized losses, according to on-chain analyst Ai Yi.
