Jefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu maintained a Buy rating on Boeing and a $265 price target after the FAA (U.S. aviation regulator) determined that a Max software glitch does not pose a flight safety issue because pilots retain full control of the aircraft. The decision allows Boeing’s Max 10 to be certified before year-end, with its first delivery scheduled for 2027. Jefferies expects the FAA to require software updates by a future date to address the glitch.
