According to Genius, the Season 1 airdrop now includes a 48-hour post-TGE refund option, allowing eligible users to burn all tokens and reclaim net fees paid after specified exclusions.
According to Genius’s official update, the project’s Season 1 airdrop covers 70 million GENIUS tokens and keeps the two previously described claim routes: an immediate claim in which 70% of the allocation is burned, or a full claim after a one-year lock. After community feedback and criticism over token allocation, Genius added a third option that lets users burn 100% of their GENIUS airdrop shares within 48 hours after the token generation event (TGE) and reclaim net fees collected by the platform. The refund excludes trading rebates, referral rewards, and third-party protocol fees, previously specified as more than $7 million in cashback and $1.3 million in referral rewards.
