XChat is scheduled to launch globally on Apple’s App Store on April 17 as a standalone messaging app tied to the X platform. The new report says the app will include end-to-end encryption, Grok AI integration, login with an X account without requiring a phone number, file transfers of up to 4GB for Premium users, and group chats for as many as 481 participants. Android availability is planned for a later date.
