According to AO’s official announcement, the Network Availability Staking Alpha program lets HyperBEAM node operators stake 25 AO to support Arweave gateway availability and earn from a 1,000 AO monthly reward pool. The updated program ties rewards to AO and Arweave gateway request volume, aiming to improve permaweb infrastructure decentralization, service availability, and network stability. AO described the launch as an early step in AO-Core economics.
