According to on-chain analyst Ember, the wallet tied to the Balancer exploit converted more Ethereum into Bitcoin through THORChain, while still retaining substantial stolen assets across both cryptocurrencies.
On-chain analyst Ember said the Balancer hacker swapped 14,300 ETH for 419.3 BTC worth $32.51 million via THORChain. Ember added that the attacker still holds 7,700 ETH and 419.3 BTC worth a combined $50.4 million. The report updates earlier figures on the wallet’s asset rotation and indicates that a significant portion of the funds stolen in the Balancer exploit, which were valued at $98 million in November last year, remains under the attacker’s control.
