According to Upbit's announcement, Dogwifhat will trade against KRW, BTC and USDT on the South Korean exchange, expanding fiat and crypto access and coinciding with a brief price increase.
Upbit, described as South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, announced the listing of Dogwifhat (WIF) across its KRW, BTC and USDT markets, expanding access to the Solana-based memecoin through both fiat and crypto trading pairs. Dogwifhat is inspired by a viral image of a Shiba Inu wearing a pink knitted hat. Following the announcement, WIF briefly rose to 0.26 USDT before easing to 0.25 USDT, while its market capitalization exceeded $215 million. The added KRW, BTC and USDT pairs may improve accessibility, liquidity and trading activity for the token.
