OpenAI announced OpenAI Deployment Company, or DeployCo, a new enterprise AI deployment unit backed by more than $4 billion for expansion and acquisitions. The company also agreed to acquire AI consulting and engineering firm Tomoro, a move that would add about 150 Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Specialists. OpenAI said DeployCo will work with 19 global investment institutions and consulting firms as it expands its enterprise implementation efforts.
