Anchorage Digital has partnered with Grupo Salinas to provide dollar stablecoin infrastructure for cross-border payments. Coinpro, Grupo Salinas’ crypto unit, will integrate Anchorage Digital’s payment rails to enable faster settlement and real-time programmable dollar settlement through blockchain-based infrastructure. The announcement also said the companies will develop payment channels for Grupo Elektra users, expanding the partnership beyond Coinpro’s integration and highlighting a broader consumer payments use case for stablecoins.
